The Euro Cine Expo is THE international Symposium & Expo for Production & Media Professionals. It is where the film, TV and media production world comes together. A place to meet your friends and industry peers.
Innovation in media education requires a continuous engagement with new technologies. At HFF Munich, the CreatiF Center functions as a platform for research and knowledge transfer in all phases of film production. The first talk, by Malte Schulz is a look at HFF Munich’s strategy for evaluating and integrating emerging technologies in film production, with a focus on in-camera VFX and the upcoming research with HFF’s own ICVFX system.
The second talk by Sarah Rotter is a practical guide to filming LED screens – exploring screen properties, optical illusions, and key production insights. The use of LED screens in filmmaking opens up new possibilities for virtual production on set as well as for filming from conventional film plates. The properties of the LED screen are a crucial aspect when it comes to achieving this optical illusion seamlessly in-camera. The talk will give a comprehensive overview of how LED screens work and introduce the key aspects you should know before filming LED screens.
